I decided to break out of my comfort zone and try something new, so I ditched the park and headed to a great urban location in the city. This sweet couple braved the 27 degree weather and was so fun to photograph. I'm especially excited to do their newborn photos when the little one arrives in February!

Swap-tastic!
A new photographer friend of mine was in town over the weekend and we decided to do a photo swap. This means that she agreed to take photos of my family and in exchange, I photographed her family. It is great practice and a wonderful way to get family photos without getting a tripod, a remote and hoping that everyone looks good since you aren't behind the camera to check. It was so nice to have someone to talk shop with and discuss strategies. Plus, she has the most adorable family! And check out her precious baby bump!

F is for Family
Another first! I was so excited to tackle my first maternity session this weekend! The F family is so sweet and were such good sports. N has about 8 weeks to go and she was such a trooper...I had the poor girl climbing up on logs, sitting on the ground, all sorts of things that most pregnant women would not be keen on doing. And the best part? She did it with a smile! That's a good friend!
