A dream session

Doing this maternity session for a friend was an absolute dream!  I got to play around and try so many different things!  I was really focusing on using the environment to frame my subjects. This location is about 2 minutes from my house and is an absolute hidden treasure.  Except for the ticks...gross...only saw one, but I'll definitely be bathing in OFF the next time I go there!

Finally, a baby girl!

There must have been a sale on baby boys lately, because I haven't had a newborn girl in months.  Seriously, it's been a string of baby boys, which I adore, but it was nice to break out the hair accessories for a change!  This little one was just 6 days old and she is absolutely exquisite!

Catching up...

While visiting family in TX, I had the rare and amazing opportunity to meet up with a brilliant photographer to do a one on one tutoring session.  She is an American who lives in Finland and her trip to a convention in TX just happened to overlap with my visit. The moons & stars must have really been aligned for this to fall into place.  I learned so much that day and here are a few images from that session.  Ron was our main model/guinea pig, but I was fortunate to have a fellow photographer and her son come to help out as well.

Sweet Bunny Rabbit

Her nickname is Bunny Rabbit and she is just as sweet & cuddly as can be.  With killer lashes and to die for curls, this little one is completely irresistible!

Brotherly love

These two brothers are as close as can be even though they are 16 years apart in age.  The little one is so lucky to have such an amazing big bro.  He risked getting peed on, spit up on, you name it....just so he could get some good shots with his baby brother.  That's what I call true brotherly love!
